I am Sem de Groot, a young freelancer in video and photography under the official name Medits (Productions) since 2021.

The 48 Hour Project (48H Project) where you have to make a film from scratch within 48 hours, was held in The Netherlands this year.
The basic process:

Pre-production
It involves tasks such as script development, location scouting, casting, crew hiring, and budgeting.
This phase sets the foundation for a successful project by defining the creative vision and logistical details.
Contact & concept
After the first contact, is discussing the concept a crucial step. It involves sharing creative ideas and objectives with the client's goals and expectations.
Effective communication and a clear understanding of the concept from both sides are key to a successful project.
Production
It involves activities such as filming, directing, cinematography (light), sound recording, and acting.
This stage is very critical for ensuring the concept that has to be translated into actual good visual footage.
Feedback & finishing
The completion of a video production typically involves a feedback round where the client review the project for adjustments and revisions
Once the revisions are implemented, the video is finalized and ready for distribution or release.
